Ryan went off to work this morning in a suit and tie, not his typical green scrubs. And the reason? Because today is THE day he has been gearing up for for the last several weeks. Oral Boards.
He spent every minute he could spare this weekend locked in his office reading over hundreds of pages of material on all subjects of medicine relating to oral surgery.
All morning long today, from 8-12, he will be questioned and examined by his faculty in front of his fellow residents. Yes, I am a nervous wreck right now.
Despite this tremendous pressure that he has been under all weekend, he gave every free moment he could to his Christopher Robin.

Well, Dr. Swigert may not know every answer to every question he is asked today, or articulate each detail perfectly, (though I really think he will) he has done his most important job just right: being Christopher Robin's father. And in the end that is what will matter most.
