Kjersti Jill Swigert was born on November 6, 2013 at 5:20 AM. We are so thrilled to have her here! She was 9lbs 3 oz. My recovery has been slower then I thought. I really envisioned myself just jumping back into life a few days after giving birth...well, that has not been the case!! I forgot how involved having a baby can be! It has taken me two weeks to be back in the swing of things.
Robin and Rue are enthralled with her. In case you were wondering her name is pronounced SHARE-stee. She is a sweetheart. We have had several late nights with her--nothing past 3:00AM yet--but she has a very mild temperament and puts up with all of Gracie's mauling!
I will post pictures of her meeting her siblings for the first time and share her birth story hopefully this week. But I have been wanting to get these posted for my parents to see their newest Granddaughter. So Mother and Dad--these photos are for you!
