Graduation

Well, Jace is now an official graduate of Handicare Preschool and that is quite an accomplishment! It took a lot of energy to get him there everyday for 3 months, but we carried on to the end!

The ceremony was very short and sweet.  I was surprised that Gracie was the only sibling in attendance.  When I walked into the room, Jace was just sitting on the rug with the other students.  I was struck by the big beautiful smile on his face.  He looked so happy, and he was really thrilled to see me and Gracie show up.

While he was waiting 15 minutes for the program to start, he entertained himself by dreaming. When he doesn't have a match box car handy, or something else to play with, his hands become his toys.  They are cars, or drivers, or transformers, or whatever he needs them to be in his world of dreamland.

But the program finally started so he was busy

singing and dancing with the other kids. He was then presented with his certificate, we ate treats, said goodbye to his friends and Miss Erin and then we were done.  All within 25 minutes!

I am so happy we made it to May 31st.  Let summer begin and never end!
