Mud, glorious mud

Here you see some very quiet, happy children.

First we stand in the mud.  Oh how it squishes between the toes.

Then we squat in the mud.

But best of all is to just sit right down in the mud.

Because Jace is busy busy busy building a road with "lots of muddy tracks on it." - and it is so fascinating for a little Rue to watch the process.

We have been needing one of those kinds of roads, so I am glad he got right on it. 

Then off goes little miss muddy bum, to have a bath and get some dinner as soon as Mom can catch her.

We have had eighty degree weather this week.  We must relish it.
