The baby is never bored at our house!!  It's nice to have siblings!

They help me out!  They don't realize it!  It's fun for them and gives me a second to do a batch of laundry and start the dishwasher!

Thanksgiving at the Erickson's!!  Thanks for hosting us!!  Julie and I just had babies.  

Christmas is coming!

Chicago!  The windy city is it!!  Ryan had an implant conference, and my postpartum anxiety was through the roof.  I was so miserable and crippled in fear.  Luckily,  I have an understanding husband and he was happy dragging us all along with him.  We stayed in his room and I bought a few new activities for the kids to do all day in the room.

At this age they are so easily happy.  Thank you!!

Back at home, the baby is still the center of life.  There is always something going on!!

Gracie is always coming up with something new and exciting for baby!!

I sure love this sweetheart!!  She is easy going.  I needed  a low demand baby. She did keep me up every night until 2:00 AM with colic until she was 4 months old, it was hard, but it was also fine. I rocked her in my room and watched episodes of Downtown Abbey, until the season was over.

           I look at this Santa picture and think what good parents we are!!!  A new born, we are tired and exhausted from the demands of residency, but still, we took our kids to meet Santa!!  This was at the Hawkeye dental clinic.  I think we felt pressured/obligated to be there.

Matching outfits!  It was part of my plan to keep Gracie from mauling Kjersti ALL. THE. TIME!!  It's not working too well.

  Life, is good, life is grand!! Even when it's hard, it's not too bad!!!
